Israeli-made Tavor bullpup assault rifle becomes the standard combat rifle of the Nigerian Air Force Regiment. The Tavor is designed and produced by Israel Weapon Industries (IWI). It is produced in two main variants: the TAR-21 and the CTAR-21.
The Tavor is also used by the Nigerian State Security Service as a primary assault rifle for their close protection and tactical units replacing the Uzi. It is also used by the Nigerian Navy.
